Tangerine Essential Oil

Tangerine essential oil is extracted from the rind of the tangerine fruit (Citrus Reticulata). Tangerine essential oil has a typical citrus scent but has a brighter aroma than other citrus scents. Tangerine has traditionally had an important place in Chinese culture and health practices. Tangerine oil contains antioxidants as well as Limonene. Limonene has stimulating and mood-boosting properties, as well as cleansing and purifying properties.

Tangerine essential oil can be added to a diffuser to create a bright, uplifting atmosphere that combines well with florals and wood fragrances. Tangerine essential oil is also good for homemade cleaning products due to its high concentration of Limonene. Add a few drops of Tangerine essential oil to the water for cleaning. It may also be used in skin cleansing products for the same reason. Simply add a couple of drops of Tangerine oil to your skincare regime.
