Clary Sage Essential Oil

Clary Sage essential oil is also sometimes called Muscatel. It is extracted from the flower tips and leaves of the herb Clary (Salvia sclarea) by steam distillation to give a pale yellow oil. Clary Sage has a herbal and woody scent reminiscent of wine.

Clary Sage is valued as an aid in relaxation, and to improve to help promote restful sleep, to help with menstrual cramps and menopause symptoms as well as helping to improve mood.

Clary Sage essential oil can be used topically by combining with a carrier oil to be used in massage, for relaxation and to rejuvenate the skin, or added to bath water.
