Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil

Cinnamon Bark essential oil is extracted from the bark of the True Cinnamon tree (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) also called Cinnamomum vervun, a species which is native to Sri Lanka. The scent of the oil is familiar from the culinary use of the raw bark or powder. Cinnamon Bark essential oil has the same warm, spicy, woody scent, evocative of seasonal treats, but useful as a base note for many fragranced preparations all year round. Although most people are more familiar with Cinnamon’s use in cooking, as an oil is has many additional uses.

Cinnamon Bark essential oil is perfect for diffusing to add a warm and spicy exotic scent to a room. It is also an essential addition to any Christmas or festive scent bouquet. Cinnamon Bark essential oil can also be combined with a carrier oil such as fractionated coconut in order to create a warming and rejuvenating massage oil.

Uses of Cinnamon Bark Oil
